GCSE Results and the Next Steps
This week is GCSE results week and we know how nerve wracking this is for learners who have worked so hard over the last two years.
There are so many options available for school leavers as they continue their educational journey and here at the RNN Group through Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College, we offer a huge choice of courses for learners.
The Group, through it’s Colleges, offer Level 1 to Level 3 courses as well as BTECs, Apprenticeships and T Levels in Digital, Construction, Health and Education.
Based in the heart of Rotherham’s town centre, Rotherham College specialises in Construction, Health and Childcare, Hair & Beauty, the Creative Arts, Business, Enterprise and Hospitality as well as career focused training and education including T Levels and Apprenticeships. The College has also recently launched an exciting new course: BTEC Aviation which includes the opportunity for some real world flying experience.
Located to the North of Rotherham, Dearne Valley College specialises in animal care and land-based industries, esports and sport as well as motor vehicle, public services and the caring professions. It has incredible facilities across the site including a MUGA, low ropes course and salon as well as access to the local Manvers Lake outdoor site.
North Notts College with campuses at Retford and Worksop is the provider of choice in the Bassetlaw region for a wide range of technical education, development of specialist skills and a career focused approach across three main provisions: Creative Industries, Sustainability, Technology and Education, Care and Public Services.
Not only that, all three Colleges offer support with retaking Maths and English GCSE whilst you are starting your new course as well as Flexible Learning support for learners that need additional support with their learning.
College life is also an important part of the experience, and with clubs, activities and trips for learners to enjoy and develop personal and professional skills, as well as health, care and wellbeing support and your educational journey is complete at the RNN Group.
In addition, the College provides a bus service for learners to access and this year the prices remain the same as last! We can also provide cost of living and financial support and advice for learners too.
Finally, we offer careers support for all prospective and current learners as we know that 75% of schools leavers don’t know what they want to do as a career.
