The course is delivered in small cohorts on a monthly basis.
The course is flexible in its delivery. Delivery can be online, on Campus at the UCR (University Centre Rotherham), in the workplace or a mixture of online and face to face.
Reviews will be completed on a 12-week basis and these are flexible to the apprentice and employer, being online or face to face.
On the course, the apprentice will study the relevant Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours (KSB’s) such as:
- Operational Management
- Finance
- Managing People
- Project Management.
Embedded in the Standard, the apprentice will also complete the:
- CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management (Non-Mandatory Qualification)
- English & Maths at Level 2, if applicable

It is desired that all applicants hold a GCSE Grade 4 in English and Math’s or have achieved a Functional Skill at Level 2 / Adult Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or Key Skills Communication and Application of Number at Level 2.
Level 2 / equivalent must be achieved in English and Maths, prior to taking End Point Assessment.

Senior Leader Level 7 Apprenticeship.
On completion, Apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and / or the Institute of leadership and Management (ILM) and those with 3 years of management experience, can apply for Chartered Manager status through CMI
