The course is delivered in a group, on a monthly basis.
Delivery will be face to face, on Campus at either the UCR (University Centre Rotherham) or NNC (North Notts College).
Tripartite Progress Reviews will be completed on a 12-week basis and these are flexible to the apprentice and employer, being online or face to face.
On the course, the apprentice will study the relevant Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours (KSB’s) such as:
- Setting direction, vision, governance and providing a clear sense of purpose for their area of responsibility.
- Providing clear and inclusive leadership.
- Identifying longer-term opportunities and risks using data from internal intelligence sources and external influences.
- Developing sustainable, ethical, innovative and supportive cultures that get the best from people and enable the delivery of results
- Resources that may include budgets, people, assets and facilities.
- Staying up to date with innovation and championing its adoption.
- Keeping pace with – and responding to change – by leading agile transformation.
- Leading and promoting sustainable business practices.
- Responding and managing crisis situations.
English & Maths at Level 2, if applicable.

Be working in a Senior, Strategic higher management role, looking after a cross team of individuals.
It is desired that all applicants hold a GCSE Grade 4 in English and Math’s or have achieved a Functional Skill at Level 2 / Adult Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or Key Skills Communication and Application of Number at Level 2.
Level 2 / equivalent must be achieved in English and Maths, prior to taking End Point Assessment.

On completion, Apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and / or the Institute of leadership and Management (ILM) and those with 3 years of management experience, can apply for Chartered Manager status through CMI.
