Designed for students aiming to enter the esports industry, this course provides specialist knowledge and skills to support your development, whether toward employment or further study.Throughout the programme, you’ll learn about digital technologies, including gaming and streaming platforms, while collaborating on live projects with local businesses in the esports sector.

Over two years, you will study various units including:

    Year 1

  • Esports Games, Teams and Tournaments
  • Establishing an Esports Organisation
  • Streaming for Esports
  • Plan an Esports Event

    Year 2

  • Start an Enterprise in Esports
  • Design an Esports Game
  • Positive Health and Well-being in Esports
  • Advanced Esports Event Planning

Before enrolling on this course, you will need to have:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths (preferably at grade 5)
  • Level 2 Computing or equivalent at Merit or Distinction, and suitable GCSEs
  • GCSE Computing is an advantage

Upon completion of this course, you could progress onto:

  • Level 3 or T Level equivalents such as Computing, Creative Media, Business and Esports

  • 16-18 year olds do not need to pay course fees
