Esports Academy

We have a student team, the ‘DVC Minotaurs‘, who compete online in the British Esports competition The Student Champs – the largest amateur grassroots esports competition for schools and colleges across the UK.

The finals are held in conjunction within British Esports at a prestigious venue in the summer.

We hold trials throughout the year for The Student Champs, this is open to all RNN Group students.

How can I join?

If this is something that you are interested in and you play games such as Rocket League, Valorant, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, FIFA and F1, come along to room B203 at Dearne Valley College on a Wednesday from 4pm onwards.

If it’s casual, non-team related gaming that you’re interested in, you can do this in the same location 1pm – 3pm, subject to the availability of machines.
