Careers Fair at Dearne!

Students at Dearne Valley College enjoyed a Careers Fair event last week to support them as part of their induction weeks at the College.

Careers stalls were held in the social space including Rotherham Council, the Police, local universitys including University Centre Rotherham, companies and charities. All providing information on a range of careers to help our students discover their career possibilities and potential.

Derby University provided our students with an informative workshop on budgeting to help prepare them for the costs of living at University and University life.

Balfour Beatty came to do a talk on apprenticeships and infrastructure in the local area to our construction students and the importance of transferable skills.
