Be sure to sign up to our next Open Event at Dearne Valley College! Our next Open Event takes place on Saturday 22nd January 2022, kicking off at 10am until 12pm.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to meet face to face with tutors, ask questions about the courses on offer, discuss all the exciting options that the College has to offer, explore career choices, and get a real feel for the courses available to you.
By attending one of our many Open Events held throughout the year, you will get the chance to:
- Visit our College and take a tour of the facilities available to all our students
- Drop into our Careers Lounge and discuss your future options
- Discuss the different courses and apprenticeships suited to you
- Meet our industry experienced tutors
- Gain valuable insights into what courses are available to you
- Take part in hands-on Taster Sessions at our Saturday Open Events

Do my friends and family also need a ticket?
Only people interested in studying with us and their parents/carers need a ticket, however your friends and other family members are more than welcome to accompany you without one.
Do I need to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No – we will only ask for your full name when you arrive.
Is there parking available?
Free on-site parking is available
