Safety Week at Dearne Valley College

As part of Safety Week, we welcomed South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership to talk to the students about the importance of road and driver safety. During the sessions, students were shown a number of different hazard perception videos and asked to point out where they thought the hazards were, as well as educated about stopping distances and the impact drugs and alcohol can have on your reaction times.

We also had Divert Rotherham in reception talking to students about the issues surrounding drug addiction and Mesmac educating students about sexual health.
