Our Fantastic New Health Suite

Here at Dearne Valley College we have recently been renovating for our new health suite. These fantastic facilities have been developed to deliver our new Higher Technical Qualification course in Health.

The facilities will consist of a simulated ward, in which students will be able to have hands on practice of their newly developed skills. As well as a lab and clean and modern classrooms for theory studies. These facilities will enable students studying on the HTQ to aim high with their education and get practical experience in a learning environment.

HTQs have been developed in partnership with employers and are delivered by industry experts. These qualifications focus on the skills, knowledge and behaviours that are in-demand by employers. The courses are classroom-based with the opportunity to learn practical skills through workshops, role playing exercises, or using industry facilities and applying your learning within a practical environment.

We are very excited to welcome new students onto to our HTQ courses and look forward to teaching you in our exciting new facilities.
